Unprecedented Times

What is going on with the Navarre Football program is unprecedented. For the first time in school history the Raiders have lost their first six games to start a season (eight straight overall).

The least amount of wins in a season for Navarre is three; which has happened on five different occasions (2000, 2004, 2008, 2009 & 2024). Up until last year, they had finished at .500 or better for 14 straight seasons (2010 to 2023).

Despite the six straight setbacks, they still control their own destiny. With two District games left on their schedule, if they win those two games, they still have a chance to win the District.

I have broadcasted Navarre football since 2009 and have lived through the highs (Semistate appearances in 2012 & 2016); with three Raiders taken in the NFL Draft (Jordan Leggett, Michael Carter & Jordan Jefferson) and numerous 10+ win seasons. There have been very few lows along the way.

This community has been blessed with some amazing and talented young men over the years that have represented their school proudly. This 2025 team is no different than the others that have come before them. They continue to work hard!

Let us all stand up and continue to support OUR team through the thick and the thin!
