Hunter Pfeister went 25-35 for 292 yards and two touchdowns, but also threw two picks and the Raiders turned the ball over 5 times on the night. All three of the Navarre fumbles were returned for touchdowns by the opportunistic Gulf Breeze defense.

Chris Decorte rushed for 85 yards and a score to lead all Raider backs. Derek Percivalle led all receivers with 10 receptions for 104 yards and a TD and Terence Marshall added 5 receptions for 91 yards and a score.

Devin Wright (14 tackles), Hunter Crowder (12 tackles) and Christian Caballero (10 tackles) led Navarre on defense as they all played their last game for Navarre.

First win in program history – Navarre 27, Freeport 6 (1998)

This was the only time that these two teams have met on the gridiron. Navarre registered their first win in school history after falling in their first two games. The Raiders went on to finish 4-5 in their year of varsity action. They were outscored on the season, 303-197.

Kyle Chambers was a one-man wrecking crew as he completed 11-16 passes for 270 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 115 yards and two more scores. Terence Marshall only caught two passes, but they both went to the house (66 & 80 yards) and Derek Percivalle added eight receptions for 110 yards.

Christian Caballero set a Navarre record with 30 tackles on the night (22 solo/8 assists/2 TFL). Percivalle and Connor Black added 11 tackles each.

This was the only time that these two teams have met on the gridiron. The Raiders finished their first varsity season in school history at 4-5. This would be Kenny Hughes only season at the helm.

The Raiders were limited to 183 yards of total offense (72 yards passing/111 yards rushing). Kyle Chambers was the leading ground carrier with 86 yards on 18 carries and scored Navarre’s only touchdown.

The defense was led by Hunter Crowder (15 tackles), Devin Wright (13 tackles) and Christian Caballero (12 tackles).

5th win in program history – Navarre 39, Port St Joe 20 (1999)

The Raiders started their first season where they had a Senior Class and the first year for Coach Danny Williams. Coach Williams would go on to lead the Raider program for three seasons (12-18).
