The last time the Raiders were held to no touchdowns in a game was in 2013 against Niceville (72 games ago). In this game, both teams combined to have 29 penalties in the game, Pine Forest with 18 and Navarre with 11.

Navarre’s defense had a trio of defenders that had 12 tackles; Jaden Rivera (8 solo/4 assists), Tyler England (8 solo/4 assists) and Bailey Huston (7 solo/5 assists/TFL). The Raiders also totaled seven tackles for loss, four sacks and nine quarterback hurries in the game. Preston Penton put the only points on the board as he went 2-2 on FGs (both from 38 yards).

This game was decided in the air as Marlon Courtney III passed for 228 yards and a score and Lincoln’s Christopher Beard (242 yards/3 TDs) and Perry Fisher (91 yards/TD) combined to throw for 333 yards. Both teams struggled to run the ball on this night as Navarre could only muster 42 yards on 31 carries and Lincoln with 31 yards on 32 carries.

Raiders WR Tyler England hauled in 4 passes for 111 yards, while future Clemson TE Sage Ennis led the Trojans with 4 receptions for 147 yards and two touchdowns.

The defensive star of the night was DL Grady Kelly, as he registered eleven tackles, eight QB hurries and seven sacks (school record). On one possession, Lincoln went from first and ten at Navarre’s 29, to fourth and 62, as Kelly sacked Beard on three consecutive plays.

23rd win in program history – Navarre 42, Woodham 3 (2003)

This would be the last time these two teams met on the gridiron and the only time that the Raiders would beat the “Fighting Titans”. Two-time Class 4A State Football Champion (1982 & 84) Woodham High School would close their doors in May of 2007. Only to open them back up in the Fall of 2007 as Woodham Middle School. It is now home to the West Florida Jaguars.
