The Raiders (12-1, 5-0) got off to a really quick start in the Class 6A Region 1 Final against the Tigers and future NFL star lineman, Laremy Tunsil. Nick Benton returned the opening kickoff 85 yards for a score and Navarre would add another touchdown to take a 14-0 lead after one. The lead would jump to 21-0 in the second before Columbia would put 14 points on the board before halftime to cut the game to 21-14.
 
The Tigers tied it up in the third at 21-21, so the game would be decided in the fourth quarter. The Raiders went on to score the only points of the fourth for their first ever Region Title in school history and ran their winning streak to 11 straight games.

After four weeks on the road, the Raiders (5-1, 2-0) returned home to the comfy confines of Bennett C. Russell Stadium. This game was nip and tuck the whole way through, but somehow they managed to pull out a victory against their District foe. This was their fourth straight win.
 
After moving Andrew Rieves from LB to QB, the senior was finally starting to get his legs underneath himself and he had a lot of help in the backfield from senior Jay Warren, who was leading the ground attack. Warren would end up with the second most rushing yards in a season in Raider history with 1,832 and he also produced 20 touchdowns.
