82 days to kickoff of the 2021 High School Football season for the Navarre Raiders as they will host Fort Walton Beach on 27 Aug 2021.

82 games ago – Davidson (AL) 24, Navarre 21 (2013)

After a steady rain fell in the Panhandle most of the day; the skies cleared as the Raiders (5-4, 2-0) traveled to Mobile for the first time to play the Warriors at Ladd Peebles Stadium. Also, was the first time since the 2001 season that they faced off against an opponent outside the State of Florida.

Navarre is 7-3 all-time against Alabama teams…their very first game in program history was a 25-14 loss to Straughn; then they came back the next year and beat Straughn, 38-8. In 2000, they beat Gulf Shores, 54-0. The following year they lost to Charles Henderson, 28-13 to open the season and then ended that same season with 41-7 win over Gulf Shores.

The next time the Raiders would play a team from Alabama would be in 2014, when they defeated Dothan 49-24 at home. Navarre then traveled to Dothan to kick start the 2015 season. After numerous lightning/weather delays, the Raiders prevailed 43-22.

Andalusia and Enterprise came to Bennett C. Russell Stadium in 2020; Navarre would take them both down, beating Andalusia, 16-14 and Enterprise, 42-28.
