Navarre Raider History – 2014

2014 Navarre Raider - Seniors
Navarre Raiders - 2014
The Raiders started the 2014 season with six straight wins to include an exciting overtime win over Feleipe Franks and his Wakulla War Eagles and a lightning shortened game against Crestview in Week 3.

The only setbacks for Navarre in the regular season came at Niceville in Week 7 and against Choctaw in Week 8. The Raiders would then have convincing wins over Dothan and Gulf Breeze to finish at 8-2 and 1-1 in District 2-6A.

Navarre went on the road for round one of the playoffs at Escambia. Things were not looking good for the Raiders as they fell behind 17-7 at the half, but they got the offense going and outscored the Gators 37-13 for the win.

Round two saw Navarre face off with conference foe Choctaw. The Raiders jumped out to a 14-7 lead after one, but it was all Indians after that as they scored the last 28 points for the win.

Navarre outscored their opponents 412-242 (the most points scored in a season up to that point).
