Navarre looked to rebound from a 3-7 record in 2008 in Coach Lashley’s first season. But the Raiders struggled out the gate in 2009 and dropped their first five games while being outscored 156-48.
They would rebound with back to back wins over Walton and Escambia, before falling to Pace and Tate. Navarre wound up the season with a win over Gulf Breeze in the Publix Beach Bowl Cup to finish 3-7 overall and 1-4 in District.
