The Raiders (3-1, 0-1) had not faced an opponent from Tallahassee since the heartbreaking 34-33 triple overtime loss to Lincoln in the 2010 Region Finals. On this Thursday night, they found themselves up against the Trojans once again.

Navarre scored first as Marlon Courtney III connected with Xayvion Thomas on a 39-yard scoring play at 7:32 of the first quarter. Lincoln would answer at the 6:28 mark when Marko Skarica hauled in a 56-yard catch from Chris Beard…7-7 after one.

Courtney put the Raiders back on top when he scampered in from the three at 8:59 of the second. Lincoln would respond two touchdo6wn passes, Beard to Sage Ennis (Clemson commit) for 27 yards and Perry Fisher to Ennis for 64 yards…Trojans 21-14 at the half.

The lone touchdown in the third quarter came when Beard threw his third touchdown of the night, 22 yards to Dominic Larry…28-14 Lincoln.

The Trojans stretched that lead out to 21 when Ennis ran one in from four yards out. Navarre would get on the board one more time, as Jaydin Antonio found the end zone from 6-yards out…Lincoln 35-20.

Courtney finished the night 13-21 for 228 yards and a touchdown. Tyler England had four receptions for 111 yards and Xayvion Thomas hauled in four for 77 yards and a score. Navarre was limited to 42 yards on 31 carries on the night.

The Raiders held the Trojans to 31 yards on 32 carries, but Lincoln passed for 333 yards on the night. It was a record breaking performance for Navarre’s defensive end Grady Kelly as led the defense with 11 tackles (8 TFL/7 sacks/8 QBH). The seven sacks in a game is a Navarre record.
