28 days to the original kickoff of the 2020 HS Football season as Navarre would have been traveling to Gulf Breeze on 21 Aug 20. The season originally was scheduled to start on 27 Jul 20 (practice); but has now been delayed until 24 Aug 20.

The Raiders (6-1, 2-0) took a big step for another trip to the State Playoffs as they defeated the Panthers to remain undefeated in District play.
 
Sage Chambers had another solid performance as he went 13-19 for 217 yards and two touchdowns. Once again, his favorite target was Dante Wright, who hauled in five receptions for 133 yards and two touchdowns (52 & 40 yards); he also added 40 yards rushing on two carries and another score (37 yards).
 
Navarre was led on defense by Josh Carter once again as he contributed 10 tackles (7 solo/3 assists) and Cade Taylor added 9 (6 solo/3 assists). Jordan Jefferson had two of the Raiders seven sacks on the night and finished with three TFL. Kevin Taich was 4-4 on extra points.
