The Raiders (3-0) offense continued to gel like a fine oiled machine on the road against the Wildcats. Unfortunately late in the second quarter when Navarre was putting another drive together, Michael Carter went down with a injury that would cost him the rest of his junior season.

Up to that point, Michael had 10 carries for 73 yards and a score and a 55-yard TD reception. So, in steps senior Hasaan Williams to pick up the load. Hasaan finished the game with 173 yards on 11 carries and a TD and found the end zone on both of his receptions for 54 yards. Sage Chambers only had to throw six passes, completing four for 109 yards and a TD; Caine Adamson pitched in with two TD passes as well.

The defense held Washington at bay all night long in the win. Navarre was led by Xavier Fernandez and Aaron Mitchell’s nine tackles each. Fernandez also contributed two of the Raiders seven sacks on the night. Brady Hammel went 6-6 on extra points.
