I had a simple philosophy when I entered the broadcast world…describe each play and each game as I was describing it to a blind person. Paint the whole picture; not just a small sample size.
I am a Navarre’s broadcaster, but when I call a game I am calling the game as I see it unfold, no matter if it is a Raider or one of their opponents.
When people log into watch, I don’t know who they are a fan of (unless they tell me on the live chat); so it’s my responsibility to put together an unbiased broadcast.
Finally, going into each game I remind myself, this is not about me, and that I am only here to tell the athletes story…bottom line!
