In the first meeting of the season, the Indians built up a 28-0 lead, only to see it slip away in the second half in a 35-28 loss. Choctaw jumped out to 14-13 lead to the half, then tacked on 14 unanswered in the third quarter to stretch the lead out to 15 and never really looked back. The Raiders would cut it to seven in the fourth, but that would be as close as they would get, ending their season at 7-5.

QB Matthew Webb found WR Gatlin Casey for a 45-yard TD and rushed for a 32-yard score as well and Freshman RB Michael Carter contributed a 23-yard touchdown. Even LB Howie Walker got in the scoring column as he returned an interception 59 yards for a TD to help Navarre finish the regular season at 6-4.

After a steady rain fell in the Panhandle most of the day; the skies cleared as the Raiders (5-4, 2-0) traveled to Mobile for the first time to play the Warriors at Ladd Peebles Stadium. This was the first game since the 2001 season that they faced off against an opponent outside the State of Florida.
 
Navarre had a chance to win or tie the game on their final drive late in the fourth quarter, but unfortunately they came up short deep in Davidson territory.
 
Navarre is 7-3 all-time against teams from the State of Alabama.

Prior to the game, the Raiders retired Ian Lockwood’s #10 – the only number to be retired in Navarre history.
 
With the hopes of a District title on the line, the Raiders were about to accomplish something that had never been done before in school history…back to back District titles. Early on in the second quarter, those dreams were slowly fading as they fell behind 28-7.
 
Matthew Webb would find Gatlin Casey from 8-yards out to cut the lead to 28-14 going to the intermission. The lead was then cut to seven when Webb found John Graczyk on a 30-yard strike on 4th and 8. While still in the third quarter, Webb knotted the game up at 28 with a 34-yard scamper.
 
The Raiders defense did their part as they held the Indians scoreless over the last two and a half quarters of the game. Webb would then lead the offense on a 89-yard fourth quarter drive, culminating with a 5-yard run by Casey to give Navarre their second straight District title.
