The Raiders (3-0) offense exploded in the first half against the Patriots defense. They put up 21 in the first quarter and 28 in the second to take a 35 point lead at the half. With that lead, the whole second half would be played with a running clock.

Matthew Webb only completed four passes on the night, but he made them count, two touchdown passes and 106 yards. His TD passes went to Quentin Randolph (2 rec/61 yards/TD) and TJ Woodberry (1 rec/31 yards/TD). Michael Carter produced 112 yards on 4 carries and two TDs and Derrick Smith added 95 yards on 3 carries and a score as the Raiders amassed 13.7 yards per carry in the contest. The defense was led by Anthony “The Unit” Miller and Tommy Leggett for the second straight week. Miller with 12 solo tackles and 3 tackles for loss and Leggett with 6 solo and 6 assisted tackles.

Most of the Pace offense was led by workhorse, Quaide Weimerskirch, who produced 191 yards on 21 carries and all three of the Patriots touchdowns.

After a steady rain fell in the Panhandle most of the day; the skies cleared as the Raiders (5-4, 2-0) traveled to Mobile for the first time to play the Warriors at Ladd Peebles Stadium. Also, was the first time since the 2001 season that they faced off against an opponent outside the State of Florida.
 
Navarre is 7-3 all-time against Alabama teams…their very first game in program history was a 25-14 loss to Straughn; then they came back the next year and beat Straughn, 38-8. In 2000, they beat Gulf Shores, 54-0. The following year they lost to Charles Henderson, 28-13 to open the season and then ended that same season with 41-7 win over Gulf Shores.
 
The next time the Raiders would play a team from Alabama would be in 2014, when they defeated Dothan 49-24 at home. Navarre then traveled to Dothan to kick start the 2015 season. After numerous lightning/weather delays, the Raiders prevailed 43-22.
 
Andalusia and Enterprise came to Bennett C. Russell Stadium in 2020; Navarre would take them both down, beating Andalusia, 16-14 and Enterprise, 42-28.
