The Raiders (11-1) avenged their only loss of the regular season against the Gators. Marlon Courtney III scored on Navarre’s first possession at 10:10 with a 15-yard run; then he found Fernando Gomez for a 19-yard score…14-0 after one.
 
Escambia cut the lead to seven early in the second when Av Smith hit Chris Hale on a 75-yard strike. Kevin Taich would stretch the lead to 13 in the second quarter as he connected on two 37-yard field goals…Raiders up 20-7.
 
The scoring was early and often in the third quarter and Chris Williams got it going with a 38-yard run and Navarre had their biggest lead of the game. On the ensuing kickoff, Escambia’s Patrick Sanders broke free and returned the kick 92 yards for a score to cut the lead to 27-14. Raiders would score the next 10 on a 6-yard run from Carter and Taich’s third field goal of the night. Gators Frank Pesant found the end zone from three yards to get within 15 at 1:38; but Navarre would answer right back on Dante Wright’s 63-yard run…43-22 Raiders.
 
Jaydin Antonio would put the final touches on Navarre’s win with a one yard run at 6:14. Taich finished the night, 5-6 on extra points and went 3-3 on field goals; his best night as a Raider.
 
After throwing for over 300 yards in the first meeting, Navarre didn’t have to rely on their passing game as much, as Courtney completed 9-18 for 116 yards and a TD. Raiders turned to the running game and Williams led the way with 145 yards on 16 carries and Wright added 93 yards on three carries. Navarre finished the night with 343 yards on 46 carries.
 
On defense, Josh Carter led the way again with 11 tackles (7 solo/4 assists) and Isaiah Heyward pitched in with 9 (4 solo/5 assists/sack). The Raiders defense forced three turnovers on the night (interception & two fumble recoveries) and also recorded a blocked field goal.

The Raiders (10-1) beat the Patriots for the second time on the season, this time at home. Kevin Taich got the scoring underway with a 24-yard FG at 7:03. At the 6:07 mark, Dante Wright stepped in front of a Kason Lincke pass and returned it 20 yards for a score. The final score of the first quarter came when Marlon Courtney III connected with Tyler England on a 44-yard TD pass. 17-0 Navarre after one.
 
After a scoreless second quarter, Chris Williams scored on a 33 yard run at 7:23 of the third to increase the lead to 24-0. Raiders would get rushing TDs from Wright (40 yards) and Garon Finley (2 yards) in the fourth to start a running clock. Pace finally got on the board as time expired when Lincke connected with Caleb Buckner on a 35-yard pass.
 
Courtney finished the night going 6-10 for 133 yards and a score and Chris Williams led the ground attack with 66 yards on 10 carries and a TD. England was the Raiders leading receiver as he finished with four receptions for 99 yards and a TD. Pace was led by Damean Bivins 133 yards on 28 carries.
 
Joshua Carter led the Navarre defense once again with 12 tackles (10 solo/2 assists/TFL) and Isaiah Heyward contributed 8 (5 solo/3 assists). Wright had three of the Raiders four interceptions in the game. Taich finished 5-5 on extra points and was successful on his only FG attempt.

The Raiders (9-1, 3-0) finished the regular season with a strong performance on the road against the Eagles. Marlon Courtney III started the scoring in the first quarter with a one yard run. Navarre would find the end zone two more times in the second, Chris Williams with a nine yard run and Dante Wright with a 44-yard run. Raiders up 21-0 at the half.
 
Wright would extend the lead to 28 as he hauled in a 67-yard pass from Courtney on the first play from scrimmage to start the second half. Niceville would get on the board as T.J. Pope scored from the one. The Eagles then cut the lead to 15 as Jack White hit Dominic Annachiraco on a 25-yard pass play with eight seconds left in the quarter. But, Navarre would answer right back as Courtney connected with Wright on a 80-yard score with no time left on the clock…Raiders 35-13.
 
Kevin Taich finished up the scoring in the fourth quarter as he split the uprights from 33 yards out. Courtney finished the night, 8-13 for 276 yards and two TDs. Wright brought in four receptions for 177 yards (school record) and two scores. Williams led the ground attack with 68 yards on nine carries and a TD.
 
Navarre’s defense was led by Josh Carter with 11 tackles (8 solo/3 assists/TFL) and Quinn Caballero with 10 (8 solo/2 assists). Raiders registered eight tackles for loss and four sacks (three by Jordan Jefferson). Taich finished the night perfectly, as he went 5-5 on extra points and hit his only field goal attempt.

The Raiders (8-1, 3-0) go undefeated in District play for the second straight year. Navarre jumped out to a 19-0 lead after one, the first coming on a 70-yard pass from Marlon Courtney III to Dante Wright at 10:59. The defense got into the scoring column as well as Evan Gourley recovered a fumble in the end zone at 9:01 and then Quinn Caballeo ran one in from the 12 at the 1:19 mark.
 
Tyler England would find the end zone on a 29-yard pass from Wright at 1:04 for the only score of the second quarter…26-0 Navarre at the half.
 
Chris Williams (13-yard run) and Josh Carter (3-yard run) extended the lead to 40-0 by the end of the third quarter, so there would be a running clock in the fourth quarter.
 
The Dolphins would score two late touchdowns in the fourth quarter as Tyler Dittmer scored on a 34-yard run at 2:28 and Nic Deweese hauled in a 28-yard reception from Cooper Harris as time expired.
 
It was a quiet nice of passing for Courtney as he went 3-6 for 115 yards and a score; he also added 46 yards on nine carries. Chris Williams led the ground attack with 79 yards on nine carries and a TD.

The Raiders (7-1, 2-0) fell behind 22 seconds into the game as Tyler Buchanan found Marquise McCroy on a 84-yard TD pass. But, Navarre would score 49 of the next 55 points, starting with a Chris Williams 5-yard TD run. Raiders ahead 7-6 after one.
 
Navarre scored on their first three possessions of the second quarter. Williams scored the first TD on a 25-yard run. Dante Wright hauled in a 77-yard TD pass from Marlon Courtney and Josh Carter added a 3-yard run. Lamonte Cunningham scored the last points of the night for Milton on a 2-yard run. Raiders 28-12 at the half.
 
The second half was all Navarre as Williams returned the opening kickoff 75 yards for a TD; Courtney used his legs to score from the 22 and Jaydin Antonio capped off the scoring with a 3-yard run.

Gabe Davis and Josh Carter led the way on defense with six tackles and the Raiders produced double digit tackles for loss for the second straight game with 10 (Davis and Mitchell Hunt with two each). Navarre cut it to 13 at the half when Dante Wright caught a 34 yard pass from Marlon Courtney III…Gators 20, Raiders 7.
 
Josh Carter had a three yard TD run as Navarre would get within six early the third quarter. But, Pesant scored on a four yard run for his third TD of the night to stretch the lead back out to 13 going to the fourth quarter…Escambia up 27-14.
 
Ronnie Perez added a 37-yard FG at 8:36 for the Gators. Then, Navarre’s Quinn Caballero hauled in a 13-yard TD pass from Courtney and the Raiders were within 10 with 7:30 to go in the game. Escambia would get a 47-yard TD pass from Smith to JoJo Blackmon and Navarre a 21-yard TD pass from Courtney to Wright to close out the scoring.
 
Courtney had his best game of the season yardage-wise as he threw for 307 yards on 20-25 passing and three TDs. Chris Williams had four receptions for 101 yards and Wright added five receptions for 98 yards and two TDs.
 
The Raiders were led on defense by Carter’s 12 tackles (11 solo/assist) and Jordan Jefferson’s 9 tackles (4 solo/5 assists/2 TFL). Navarre compiled 11 tackles for the loss on the night with Isaiah Heyward and Grady Kelly with three each. Wright was 3-3 on extra points.

The Patriots got on the board first when Blake Bullock connected on a 32 yard FG. The Raiders (6-0, 1-0) responded right back as Chris William tallied his first of three TDs on the night. Pace would add another score at 2:43 on a four yard run by Damean Bivins…Patriots up 10-7 after one.
 
Marlon Courtney III hit Quinn Caballero with a 31-yard TD pass just 12 seconds into second quarter to put the Raiders on top. But the Patriots would take advantage of Navarre’s only miscue on the night when J. C. Preacher stepped in front of a Courtney pass and returned it for a score. The Raiders would grab the lead back on a 54-yard run by Dante Wright…Navarre 21-17 at the half.
 
The Raiders scored the only points of the third quarter as Courtney found Tyler England on a 49-yard TD pass and Williams would find a hole in the Pace defense with a 31-yard TD run…Navarre 35-17 heading to the fourth.
 
Teams traded touchdowns in the fourth. Navarre first as Courtney connected with England on a 23-yard pass. Then, Bivins from 4 yards out for Pace. Williams with his third TD of night extended the lead to 22 for the Raiders and then the Patriots scored with 58 seconds left as Kason Lincke found Caleb Buckner on a 20 yard pass.
 
Courtney went 14-22 for 194 yards and three TDs and Chris Williams finished the night with 102 yards on 10 carries. England added 124 yards on seven receptions and Caballero added 70 yards on seven receptions.
 
Josh Carter led the defense with 14 tackles (11 solo/3 assists) and Matthew Downey chipped in 9 (6 solo/3 assists). Jeffery Mattox and Grady Kelly produced the only sacks on the night. Wright went 7-7 on extra points.

The Raiders (5-0) fell behind early as the Eagles Ladarius Clardy hit Eric Young on a 82-yard score just 59 seconds into the game. Navarre would finally get on the board when Dante Wright split the uprights from 29 yards out and the first quarter ended with Pine Forest on top 6-3.
 
Raiders took their first lead early in the second when Wright found the end zone from 11 yards out. The Eagles would answer back with 3:32 to go in the first half on a Clardy 28-yard run. But, Navarre took back the lead with 1:23 on the clock on a Chris Williams 12-yard run….16-12 Raiders at the half.
 
In a back and forth game, Clardy scampered in from 28 yards out six minutes into the third to put Pine Forest back in the lead, but the Eagles couldn’t convert on their third straight extra point. Three minutes later, Wright hit his second field goal of the night (30 yards) and the Raiders led after three, 19-18.
 
With the rain continuing to fall, Pine Forest reclaimed the lead when Anwar Lewis split the Raider defense for a 46-yard touchdown run and the Eagles led 25-19 with 4:25 left. Fear not though, as Navarre got the ball back and moved meticulously down the field getting down to the Eagles 10 yard line with under a minute to play.
 
The Eagle defense did their job and forced Marlon Courtney to throw a desperation pass on fourth down into the end zone, an Eagle defender was there for the interception, but the wet ball slipped off his hands into Tyler England’s in the back of the end zone for the win.
 
Courtney went 15-23 for 204 yards and a score and England had one of his best games in a Raider uniform with five receptions for 84 yards. On the ground, Chris Williams had a big night with 30 carries for 181 yards. Pine Forest’s Clardy completed 7-17 for 161 yards and produced 152 yards on 19 carries.
 
The Navarre defense had 11 tackles for loss, with Jordan Jefferson leading the way with three. Alex Gilchrist, Peyton Law and Xayvion Thomas each added a sack.
 
Just a few weeks ago, Ladarius Clardy was tragically killed in a shooting in Pensacola. He was a sophomore at Kennesaw State University, may he rest in peace.
