18 days to kickoff of the 2023 Florida HS football season as the Navarre Raiders will host the Catholic Crusaders on 25 Aug 2023 at the comfy confines of Bennett C. Russell Stadium.

Kyle Chambers accounted for four touchdowns on the night, completed 12-24 passes for 103 yards and a score and rushed for 139 yards on six carries and three touchdowns. Sebastian Melendez contributed a 4-yard rushing TD and Derek Percivalle hauled in a 29-yard touchdown.
 
Devin Wright led the defense once again with 16 tackles (6 solo/10 assists) and a tackle for loss, while Christian Caballero pitched in with 10 tackles (6 solo/4 assists).

Navarre beat Walton for the second straight year and lead the overall series, 4-1. The only loss came against the Braves in 1999 (62-29).
